I had a buddy of mine in the car and this old lady cut me off and I swerved around 3 cars to not get hit and there was a cop sitting off in a shopping center and I get pulled over and I was thinking what the hell. He asks me why I was pulled over and I said for weaving in and out of traffic? He said no speeding you were doing 45 in a 35 have a nice day and walked away, no ticket, didn't ask for id or insurance. It was the weirdest moment of my life but I'll take it haha

how are these cars as far as being a cop magnet? do you guys notice you get more attention from the cops? it's funny because i used to get pulled over ALL THE TIME in my g35 coupe, but my sti that was MUCH faster never was much of a cop magnet, even with the same amount of tint on the windows.

I've been a cop for about 12 years now. When I'm on patrol I always stop and talk to people about cars when I see them hanging out.

I have one. Back in '05, within 28 hours of picking mine up from the dealer, a friend and I put on my full BR 3" TBE with test pipe. I got some of that undercoating on my shirt so I threw it on the floor and went for a drive to savor the new sounds. There was a cop on an adjoining block who must have heard rather than seen me. Here I am sitting at a stop sign and I see a cop car barrelling down the road behind me with lights and siren blaring. I moved over but he pulled up behind me. I shut the car off roll the windows down and had my hand on the steering wheel. He approached the car slowly with his hand hovering over his gun and yells, 'do you know y I stopped u?'
I politely said I'm sorry, I might have been going a little fast back there officer. He came to the window and asked for my documents. I said I have insurance but no paperwork as I just got the car. He asked when did u buy it and I said yesterday. He went to his car and was back within 3 minutes. He said something to the effect of, if u just bought this car and want to know how fast it is take it to the track. There I am sitting there shirtless taking my documents and thinking, I am the luckiest bastard. I said thank you sir and slinked home.

Good thing he didnt clock my speed.

I think the most random cop story I have is when i was waiting to make a left at a light with my music blairing, and a cop rolls up next to me, so I nonchalantly lower my music, and then I hear "hey is that thing fast" then I responded with, its not too bad, then he says " can it keep up with my chevelle?" and my friend yells out the window, "no! americans better!"
