Bought an Evo X!

Bought an Evo X!
I'm trading in my Speed 3 and getting an Evo X. I had a WRX before the Speed and missed the awd too much and had to come back. My questions are about the Evo X exhaust.
I want to do a few mods to the car because stock the Evo X wasn't as quick as my slightly modded Speed. I'm thinking intake and downpipe/testpipe with a tune. I'm new to the Evo scene so I'm looking for opinions. I want to be able to pass emissions if possible. Can the downpipe be catless? Should the test pipe have a high flow cat? Will I need a mechanical fix for the O2 sensors? Can a tune fix the CEL? Is the Cobb Accessport a good option for the X? I have it for my Speed and I like it and have good results from it. Will the Accessport clear the CEL? Thanks!

Welcome to the board! There is plenty of good info regarding all those questions you have, just search around a bit. Spend a few days reading and I think you'll have the answers to all your questions plus know many other things.

welcome aboard, we have some staged upgrades planned out for the X www.mellontuning.com that should give you some ideas. We recommend a custom tune over the Access Port canned tune.
