The good things I could see about this move is the instant torque... and also the increased fuel economy. But I dunno man... a diesel hybrid EVO? It just doesn't seem right... lol It's like having a turbo-4 cylinder Ford Mustang.

 

there were turbo 4 cylinder stangs... and they proved to be fast as all hell with mods...

 

I mean these are still the guys that brought you the first 10. It may
not be so bad.

 

Also reports that the next STi will be diesel powered. Hrm... biting my tongue for now
