road racing with a pt6262

Does anyone road race with a turbo sized like a pt6262. I'm currently running a Pt5857 and its been great. It doesn't have much lag, power comes on pretty linear and its easy to drive with daily. I used to have a larger turbo (Borg warner s256) which was a lag monster for the track which is why I ended up with a pt 5857 that was recommended to me.

Well I'm building the motor and I was thinking of maybe upping the power since I will have more room in the rpm band and maybe sacrifice a little spool.

If anyone has road course experience with this turbo please let me know.

Would like to know, what bearings do you have in the 5857, and what a/r turbine housing did you have on the S256?

We ran a 6262 for a little while on our time attack car. We eventually went a little bigger. This was all done on our 2.2l motor. Have you considered a big bore motor?

What kind of power does the car make now? How much more are you looking to make?

THe 5857 has the oil/air cooled ceramic ball bearings.

I had both housings with the s256 .50 and .70 something i forget what it was exactly.
