Good days, bad days

Hey guys, stupid question most likely, I've noticed certain days my evo feels faster than other days like it has its own mood and how it feels. Has anyone else experienced this? Also I'm completely stock at this point...

Let it warm up. Different octane gas, i.e. 91/93 octane. The temperture it is outside plays a part. Thats just a few factors.

When you are driving do you notice the difference in weather? Does the car feel flat on top?

well think about it, you've got something in your engine compartment spinning at 150,000 rpm or more and you tell it to do it on all days, no matter what weather and temperature? That's like having the perfect employee... it's not going to happen JUST like you want. All cars have their moods, even new ones, even exotic ones.

Good points, I will have to take more notice about the tempature when it runs well, you think a tune would help?

The reason being is that are cars are load based not psi based. So if it is cooler out they car will lower boost and therefore torque will feel a little off. Colder weather/nighttime the car will always feel better though since more air is flowing in.

I'm no expert but it seems to me like my Evo X turbo becomes unspooled awfully quick. Not sure if that's the right term. If you're driving on the highway and need to downshift to accelerate, sometimes when you gas it it throws you back and sometimes it doesn't. It also takes my car a few minutes to get to proper boost levels when I turn it on so it's always slow as hell right when I start it up. Mine is tuned with exhaust btw.

High and low tides effect how a car runs lol, so many variables... Everything has to be working in near perfect order for the car to run at 100 percent!

So when the planets are aligned the evo becomes a monster you're say? But in all seriousness, would a good tune help or any mods?
