Noob Needs Help
hey whats going on guys, well im looking into trading in my 09 Si for a stock 08 Evo X. My question is what would i need to make about 350hp & 375lb-ft of trq? Im new to turbos and really wouldnt know where to begin, and would appreciate the help.

If your talking about 350 hp, a tune and a catback will do the trick. If your talking about 350 awhp, your going to need turboback, panel filter/intake, 1000cc injectors, fuel pump, e85 and a tune on stock turbo.

It also depends if you are talking about just crank power or at the wheels. 350hp at the crank is going to be pretty easy. 350 on a dyno is gonna be a little tougher. Get a catback, testpipe, upper intercooler pipe, and a tune and see what you think. That should be pretty fast for a while.

Tell them $26k out the door after title, tags, taxes, etc. It definitely depends on what kind of dyno. You can see in my sig all my mods and i'm not at 350 awhp yet on a mustang dyno, perhaps on a more generous dyno i would. Then again dyno numbers mean nothing, track numbers are all that matters.

28k miles is sketchy. the key is to find one with low miles. obviously. but the trick here is no matter the number of miles, theyll KBB about the same. so since miles are a huge deal for evos, your best bet is to find one with a low number and pay that same $26k for it.
