Relative to most vehicles on the road, the Evo does not get good gas mileage. Getting 240-280 miles per tank on a 14.5 gallon tank is not good gas mileage by any stretch of the imagination. Sure there are outliers where you will see the occasional tank over 300 miles but its not commonplace. At any rate, I don't think people who buy these cars care about gas mileage. This poor fuel consumption isn't (or shouldn't be) shocking to anyone.
