I have this clunking sound everytime I drive over small bumps in the road. It happens on wavy (ripple or cracked) roads too. The clunking noise only happens if I drive 25 or so mph.

It sounds like it coming from the front left side. I had the strut and one sway bar replaced and it still does it. I have over 23,000 miles on the car. I know the Evo rattles in some areas but this clunking noise is very annoying.

 

My Evo 8 has done it for a while also. Nothing seems too out of place therefore I'm not messing with it for now.

 

mite want to check ur alignment..

 

Could be your bushings or tie rods
