Does your X burn oil??

I think it's Honda in general. Looser tolerances? My 09 Ninja burns no oil every cbr owner vie spoken to says that their 09/10's burn oil. Honda should give complementary cases of oil. They says it's normal for the bikes to do that.

Nope, never a micrometer under when I change oil from previous change. Not like my dang 89 camry (330,000 miles) -- it took a full quart every tank. But such was the beater I owned.
There was a change to the recommended frequency for oil changes from the manual that I read on some Mitsubishi dealer TSB. Instead of the 3000 severe duty/5000 normal duty frequency stated in the owners manual, Mitsubishi was to somehow communicate the need for 3,000 miles for normal duty. I didn't notice/remember any change for "severe duty" (read the manual if you don't know what that means). Of course if you track it and let it run for a day or two close to or over 6000RPM's, change it as soon as that event is over. My frequency is never much more than 3000 miles no matter what, Mobile1 all the way.

BTW, nice sig block.... The X was the hardest car to drive of any I tested, took a lot of active hands-on-wheel. It's not a Buick, nor a BMW. But if you have what it takes, the car will love you back!
