Update guys: changed out the thermostat and reseted the battery. Service engine light is not on but the car is still overheating. Tends to overheat just when it sits and the fans come on.

Is it pushing coolant out of the overflow bottle? That could indeed be the headgasket.

Its not pushing coolant coolant out of the reservoir bottle. The car only has 4215 miles. Could it be the water pump??? There seems to be no coolant leaks from anywhere.

Have you taken it to the dealer?

Havent taken it to the dealer yet. Bought the car used with an aftermarket cluthc and already installed intake and intercooler piping. I would assume that they could use the intstallation of the aftermarket clutch to void the warranty.

I have taken my car to the dealership modded and they will look at it. They will charge you for it but naturally that would happen anywhere.

But if you don't think you have a competent service dept I would just take it to a reputable shop.

Maybe the fan wires got swtiched some how... Is the fan blowing air towards the motor or the front of the car when it is on?

has your car been reflashed? If not, take off the intake and intercooler pipes and put the stock pieces back on and see if that helps

Thanks for the info guys. Got the car back from the shop. They did a coolant pressure test and turns out it had a leak, so the anti-freeze was not getting to the motor. Im glad it wasnt anything else. Thanks again for all the help.
