1 Evo, 3 Carseats + Kids = family car

Yes, the Evo IS a family car! This was my first attempt at putting three carseats with three kids in the back. They are ages 4 - 7. Just so you know it can work. If you are rear facing, you get two at most. If you are front facing baby seats, you are still really stuck at two, but after 4 it just gets better and better!

To recap, yes the Evo works for the family and its a top safety pick by IIHS. So this means you don't need to sell your Evo to buy an Excursion cause you are going to have 1 kid.

This past weekend.

Yeah but judging by your facial expression : 3 carseats= misery...

Here's something better 1 or 0 carseats= 2 evos and a big fat smile on your face.

That's great news to me because I'm about to have my first baby in December and I wanted a performance car that can also be a family car as well. The Evo is a great choice.

I know I look awful in that picture. The reason I look like that is because MAF sensor died on me and couldn't finish out my autocross event. We were just getting ready to leave the event. It had nothing to do with the kids. Two of them kids belong to Wariosport and the other is mine. I have two more kids, but the twins are not yet ready to spend the day watching daddy racing.

Hmm, you're in Tampa. I wonder if I've seen this Evo before.

Kind of an off topic question, do you think running a test pipe is harmful to a baby in the back seat?

very nice. i have my first, she's 10 months and requires one of the full sized car seats plus the stroller et al. it's good to see what the nearish future holds because it's really a surprise just how much stuff is required for one toddler vs three kids that can walk on their own, no diaper bag, no pack and play, bla bla bla.

good thread!
