That is a very interesting option.

Forgive me for being a lighting newb, but how difficult is that? Does anyone make 55w ballast that are PNP, or do I have to cut and splice?

hmmm...some stealth projectors behind the grill on top might be cool

I really need to read more about ZKWR lenses....
Its not branding thats the problem, the problem is the years of research and development. For the extra money you spend of the better bulbs that are the correct temp it could have saved your life. Not to mention who knows how long the other bulbs will last, I <3 the stockers they work great for me.

Lenses backordered until 11/15.

I have a question for you lighting experts.

What dictates the width of the light output of each projector? Is it the lens?

My guess is that it is the lens , kinda like an slr lens in that you have wide angle and standard. I'm looking for wider coverage, without sacrificing to much distance. Is there a lens that is better suited to provided a wider beam than the ZKW-R?

I also am toying with the idea of pulling the fogs and inserting mini h11 projectors in their place. I am not sure they would fit in the stock fog housing though...

Has anyone seen mini H11 projectors, do they look small enough to fit in the fog light housings?

search for that lens on here... A few guys are running the ZKW-R lens (or a copy of)

basically it makes the light output sharper as the lens doesn't have any dimpling..

i guess that translates into more light..

but yeh - aim them higher too

For those that have lowered their X's, do you feel visibility has dramatically decreased? I had that problem after I lowered my IX. Even at max setting on the dial, the lights still pointed too low.

After my car's lowered by Swift Spec-R, I had to readjust by using the adjustmnet screws to bring them up. You will need a long philip screwdriver, pretty easy to do.

Update this post once you get your new lenses in!
Im going to adjust my headlights a bit higher, they do seem too low even on the 0 setting.

If your referring to me, I can't. I decided to retrofit completely different projectors into the stock housings...see my link above.
