How should i fix the problem?

Problem: one of the mufflers is off by about a half an inch. How do i make them symmetrical??

 

Have hks send you a replacement.

 

Most HKS exhaust I have seen comes with replacement hanger/brackets.

 

From your post I am assuming that you are talking about first time installation.

When I first installed my HKS HI-Power exhaust the tail pipes were a little off. I realize that I installed the rubber hangers wrong. One of the sides of the rubber hanger is different from the rest that side needs to go to the factory hook.
