That's normal unless you have catch cans installed.
There have been a few Evo 8s locally that have needed new valve seals around the 100k mark. The ACD pumps are prone to failure as well.
I haven't really heard of anything that I'd consider unusual, especially for vehicles that are driven as hard as these are.

Miles are necessarily a bad thing. The way I figure is you buy a car so that you can drive it. Some people have exotic cars such as Ferrari's, lambo's, or porsche's and they can't drive them 10,000 miles without having to do some type of maintenance. Some people like keeping low miles on the clock and there is nothing wrong with that but also at the same time do you plan on having those parts on the car stock forever? For example the motor. If you plan on having the car for awhile and modding the car you eventually may have to do a motor build therefore even if your car has 100k miles the motor would be brand new again lol

Mine is a 08 with 43k on it. I bought it in May and have put 14k on it in the past 6 months. It's running well and has been 350 awhp with stock clutch for over 30k miles.
