Idk how in the world a lifter can go bad? Old oil everything fine 30 min later new oil. Noise comes from the back of the engine! It even sounds like the injectors bc the i did the old screw driver trick that mechanics use and no where on the engine did i hear the noise. I put the screw driver onto the injectors and i heard nothing but ticking.

Ok so this is crazy! Here is the update i just drained the oil out to make it 100% level with the MAX mark and turns out i had fricking a whole quart extra??? How is that possible? I only put 5 quarts in? According to the computer its 5.2 quarts and i let the sucker drain long. (yes the car was level) After this the noise did go away a little. Id say it got 50% quieter! So either something got screwed up from to much oil! Or the i need to drain her and get the proper 10w 30 oil.

sounds like a super bad case of valve tick. When was the last time you had the valves adjusted if ever?
My 08 X makes the same noise, but like someone else said, its bad on cold starts, and gets gradually quieter as the car warms up.

I think that means you are definitely due for an adjustment. How many miles are on the clock? Valve adjustment is something you are supposed to do every 30k.
I would do what everyone else has adjusted before ripping the head apart looking for malfunctioning lifters. Change to thicker oil, and adjust the valves.
