What the He** is this?
So i changed my oil today with fully synthetic Mobil 1 Just as recommended and i started the engine up and i get this? What the crap! It sounds like a bad lifter or something and it never ever did this noise before?

Well idk i've been reading alot and i found a few posts with the same issues and people said that this is normal??? How is this normal? If this were normal how do you know if you have a bent vavle or bad lifter? And what do you mean post in the right section? I posted in evo general? I have a 2003 evo 8

that's not normal. trust me.. did you check your oil level make sure you put enough oil in.. Or haven't put to much oil in. Also does the noise go away when the motor warms up to regular temp? or does it not make noise when cold but as soon as operating temps it starts. more info is needed.

It's quiet at start up, and then after running for about 1-4 minutes its starts to slowly get louder! I have not driven the car the whole month! I just changed the oil today. It never made that noise until i changed the oil. The oil is not low but is a little over the full mark? ( does it affect it if its over the full mark)

dude im running all stock? Except a filter and BOV Im just so pissed right now, and paranoid. Bc we just put a new engine into my bro prelude bc he had a rod knock and i know thats not my problem but the last thing i want right now is a engine problem.

change to a thicker i think 5 w 30 is too thin on the bearings and in the head i use amsoil 15w40 used for disels and turbo engines the heat thins the oil out causing unwanted wear on the engine , changing to 15w 40 or something heavier should help
