Thanks guys!
Yes I am being careful right now during the break in period. I am hoping to get as many non-highway miles as possible, before I drive down to CA on vacation for the christmas break. But even on the trip I will try to move up/down the rpm range, and no wot for the first couple thousand miles. Well thats the plan right now.
The price I paid was 39k (before tax, etc) at 0% (instead of 2k rebate), includes Navigation & installation when they get it in stock. The price was higher coz this was the last MR in the north west. I had been lurking on the forums for the past 6 months in preparation of buying the evo, and once the 2011 came out, 2010 with rebates became too hard to resist. Also I knew I needed an MR with a wing, cant get it on 2011 anymore.
I am based in redmond, waiting for a quote from accutint. But some people recommended north west auto salon instead, they quoted 895$ for the standard kit (first 18” of the hood and fenders, headlights, foglights, front bumper, side mirrors, door edge guards and door handle cups). What price have you guys paid for paint protection? Just trying to gauge fair price for this.

Welcome! and nice MR! Looks exactly like mine! Make sure you break it in before you do the cobb ap. Enjoy it. You will soon get the modding itch just like the rest of us.. Voiding warranties is what EVO owners do! lol

Grats on the purchase. I love my MR. I too remember the day driving it off the lot. Then there was the driving away from the tuner. hehe. Time to continue the journey to 500whp....

Got ventureshield installed last week, got navi installed friday as well (was part of the purchase through the dealer).
One question, doesn't the navi kit include the aux video jack? My MR already had the 2 audio RCA jacks, but I expected the video in jacks to be installed as part of the navi kit.

Who in installed your ventureshield? I'm looking to get this done soon, but not sure where yet.

Accutint bellevue, people there were good and knowledgable. Cost 699$ flat for the kit. The installation was done well before the pickup time. I might go back to them and get window tinting done later.
