Track Day Fun with a Lamborghini Superleggera....

Hey Everyone,

So I'm relatively new to the EVO and new to Track day events. Recently I was out on Texas World Speedway (Counter-Clockwise with instructor onboard) and had some great fun catching up with a chap in his Lambo Superleggera . I was lucky enough to have a camera running and captured the fun...take a look;

I felt like I was living that now legendary amongst evo fans top gear episode where Clarkson is keeping up with a Murcielago;

Anyway....lot's to learn yet and indeed the lambo driver was a bit timid to say the least, but just goes to show, the evo x is one tremendous vehicle.

Cheers

ps - my evo x was stock at the time apart from the Advan Neova AD08's i was running on....

nice job there was also a superleggera in my run group during my first track day when I got my X. I lapped him And a GT-R and countless 911's of all flavors I love running with PCA. Expensive toys driven by awful drivers. It's good for you ego

Nice, smooth driving there.

What club is this, PCA? The clubs I track with in the NorthEast do not allow convertibles without aftermarket roll-bars/hoops and or the broomstick rule. Also, were you in shorts?

LOL at you waving thanks to the cars you pass. I do the same thing.

Hey Thanks for the comments guys; still working all the time on smoothness....takes a lot of concentration.... it's so easy to get sloppy with the Evo though; it will forgive you

So I'm running with The Driver's Edge (http://www.thedriversedge.net/index.html) Really well run, professional and very safety conscious. The instructors are great and just a fun group of people who all love cars and going fast around a track . Highly recommend them for anyone in Texas. How do you like PCA?

Good eye; I am wearing shorts, Summer exception for the heat down here in Texas and yeah they allow the convertibles as long as the car has roll protection that is at least an 1" above the driver's helmet....but i take your point....i don't think i'd be too happy in a convertible on a track period....Indeed I've heard PCA are quite strict.

Cheers Guys

Thank you for convincing me to sign up soon haha. I love how you just raise your hand like you cant do much when the lambo hits it one the straight and just pulls away like your going 30 mph lol. But I bet he was annoyed as hell when he could only shake you off his tail on straight ways. I would be annoyed and pissed if I was driving the lambo since you are in a 35k car he is in a 200k lol.

Great driving man.
