Evo X problems (rev hang) help please!

I've heard some people saying that rev hang goes away if they use a SprintBooster. I haven't tried it personally tho.
As for tuning shops in the GTA... Neetronics does tunes via Accessport.

I thought the stutter & flutter came first, before the rev hang. 'Did for me. But the stutter went away with a TSB retune/reflash. Good thing I didn't have it tuned. Dealer's mechanic did it "for" ("TO") me without telling me first. Till I get a solution to store my own ROM, I just don't do stupid with it. Fast, yes, but not stupid. ... often

I had the same problem with the accessport when i did the stage 2 tune. You just have to make sure your running your evo with the same parts that they tuned it for. My problem was that I forgot to remove the boost pill bit after that,I never had a problem with my car...except for the speeding tickets

ThatBoyRORev hang
Happens to me as well sometimes, only that even if i try to hit my clutch sometimes and it still gets stuck at around 2rpm. but it seems to go away once i recent my ecu. It tends to comeback once my check engine light comes back on cause i have no cats. but i don't see why that would be the problem. my guess is might have to do something with the tune. idk hopefully someone has something else that might help fix this problem!

Do we have a solution here?
I'm on SST, no chance to press a clutch obviously, and 56920008.
Was somebody ever able to make this away tuning the "Throttle requested Torque" maps?

ok, so i did read it somewhere if you delete the clutch safety switch ( its on the clutch pedal assembly) Will get rid of the rev hang.
So i did, and it does rev hangs a lot less. Almost to the point where i can say it solved the problem. Sometimes still have some hanging , but that is normal even with carburated engines.
The idea is in short behind it, the rev hang is controlled by the ECU. So when you depress the clutch the ecu drops the rpm since you would be over rev the engine if the ECU wont take a way the throttle. I hope that is clear.
So when you bridge the clutch switch , after you disconnected it, the ECU thinks the clutch is pressed so wont add unnecessary throttle input anymore.
So no more artificial rev hanging what so ever.
Your Two step will work so as the rest of goodies. Except the SAFE START! so the car WILL start either you pressed the clutch pedal or not. Just like old times.
Make sure the pin is very secured, if that get loose or fells out you wont be able to start the car until either you put the pin back - secure the connection both side of the plug or you plug the cable back to the clutch assembly.
Make sure when start the car, you are depressing a clutch or you are in neutral , if you dont want to crash your car.
Hope it helped ROb
