Lol, dude that feels sorry for my car is an idiot. My wood blocks don't work you fool, before I got slammed I did every oil change myself as well as brakes and wash my car myself. Automated car washes damage your paint sooo much worse then jiffy lube ever could it's not even comparable. I stand right next to them at jiffy while they work, and it's not overfilled as I use my own eyes to check the dip. However I don't go to "swirl" washes ever and don't need to since my Evo is in the garage on the trickle charger all winter, I'm not freezing and cracking my precious do luck lol. Trust me my car is one of the most babied cars on this forum. All this talk from a guy with fortune auto coilovers, amazing what people choose just cause it's inexpensive. If those leak on you, your Evo is going to do a pirouette on the highway bro.

The kid who lives across the street from me works at a car wash in the summer. He studies architecture during the year, graduated with honors, etc. Do you think there's a snowball's chance in hell of him ever touching my paint?

Yea, that's exactly what I do LOL . (I change my oil in Walmart with OEM filter and drain washer) Too bad they can not handle my Ralliart lug nuts...

There is your problem again. Slamming an Evo... Not going to finish this sentence. I know how everybody on this forums feels about slamming so, I am going to let them be judge for that.

Woodblocks dont work? They must be out of battery

I dont know why would you bring up washing the car, unless you have something to cover up. I sure as hell didnt mention anything about washing your car.

I am not going to say anything to your funny comment about Fortune Auto since everybody knows the quality of their products and customer service they provide.
And this coming from a guy who has Teins

Also, my Volks cost more than all the mods on your car combined So, yeah I cheap out on my mods

Again this is coming from a guy who takes his car to JiffyLube for an oil change

I think its just a lot of people out there still dont realize that the EVO MR is auto now days. I know some people that have evo 8's and 9's that didn't know as they only learned about their specific models. So I wouldnt necessarily say it was hate. More like ignorance.

I worked as a service advisor before. Can't tell you how many people come to the stealership:

"I have an oil leak and my car is under warranty,... very mad."

Did you recently change your oil?"

"Just 2 days ago and now..."

"Well it looks as goofy lube didn't put the filter on straight, pinched your o-ring, did not replace the o-ring, ...."

"Can you fix it?"

We have to redo the oil change and you could have saved yourself the 30 bucks at goofy lube and time. Also they offered me $2 off for me bringing my own oil and a $1.50 off for the filter. HaHa I was on the road and needed a quick change, but it is a bad idea.

In my 4yrs of ownership, my EVO has never seen an automatic wash. I hand wash in the hot, cold and the most recent blizzard. Beat that homie.
