I doubt he'll do something like this ever again at the risk of meeting someone like...well...me when he comes back.

I have no intention of breaking the forum rules and advocating an act that is less than diplomatic. I will say, however, that if we all followed a no-tolerance policy when it comes to this kind of BS, it wouldn't happen nearly as much. People like this are acting aggressively toward us and our property. That's not something to sit still for.
100% correct, you have a right to protect your property.

Hate? or Love? I did have one cop ask my in a VERY contrite and humble manner (after issuing me a 78/55 ticket), "Uh, sir, do you mind my asking, is this one of those 'Fast and Furious' cars?" LOL... "Yes, officer, but really, I'm not one of those drivers."

At least typically the dealer oil changes are driven in by the service writer, guaranteed to be older than the grease monkeys and a lot more savvy about HIS customers. Grease monkeys are those cause they haven't yet developed customer service mentality.
back in 05 when you bought an EVO they gave away free oil changes for the first 3 years or 36k miles. I took advantage of only two dealer oil changes.
The first time they didnt replace the crush washer, when I went for my second oil change I mentioned to my service guy what happened last time.
long story short 2k miles later when I changed my own oil I noticed again no crush washer.
doing my own oil changes ever since then.
Dont trust the service department one bit.

Just two days ago at the car wash, I was watching them detail my Evo as well... Well all seems fine until the guy gets in the car to drive it into the wash. As im watching, he slowly inches forward then stops... Stalled. I let the first one go.. then he just starts revving it. At this point im quite frustrated. Walk up, knock on the window, tell the guy to just get out that im gonna drive it up. He's yelling, "Well i mean... I thought its in 1st? (Still revving..)"

I mean come on people, Someone at a car wash has to know how to drive a manual? Right...?

Wrong.

Isnt it funny how the only people who are "snooby" as to what model a car is, are those who drive a 30 year old rusted POS. Boy they sure are educated from all those Super Sport and Import Tuners they read....
Last night I go to buy oil and a filter (its that time again) but Auto Zone was having a deal where it was $5 cheaper to let them do the oil change than for me to just buy the stuff.
So I go for the deal, and stay by the service bay "smoking a cigarette", while watching to make sure they don't f it up. And what do I hear the dumbass #1 say to dumbass #2; "yeah I read about this car in Import Tuner and saw it on tv the other night. Its over priced and slow; my homie's Si could walk all over him" Then he proceeds to get something from his 198**** camry, WTF?!?! F you and your "homies Si". Gotta hate on me just cuz your broke as cant even afford something...from this century?!?!

There is a guy at my work that insists i should have bought a Mustang because he knows they are way faster. He knows this because his "friend had an STI and it was slow and he was not impressed by it at all." I let it go for a while and finally i told him, "I don't know, but im pretty sure my EVO will woop the **** out of your '95 Explorer. And i bet your friend just couldn't drive for ****."

What is wrong with people?

Hater's are just gonna hate. They are either jealous or just to stupid and think they know everything about cars. I've gotten hate on all cars I've had. Had a dude in a civic si call my M5 a piece of german junk and was a slow hog. I told him I have 2 1/2 times more cylinders under my hood then his piece 1999 honda civic si that I could eat his car for breakfast, lunch and dinner

Comeon now...haters are fun. I get a lot of enjoyment out of letting haters talk about how much they know about cars and how there buddies car is so much faster than mine. Then of course because they know it all ask for there advice on my engine build by saying. "Could you tell me right quick what would be a better motor for my car, a Gallo 12 or a Gallo 24? I'm really having a hard time choosing between the two". Every once in a while one of the dip****s standing around will start laughing at his bud with the reference and I just keep letting them roll.
