SO let me rephrase if I'm correct....

1. CAR IN PARK
2. HOLD ASC FOR 3SEC TO DISABLE
3. FLIP TO SPORT THEN PUSH AGAIN TO ENABLE S-SPORT
4. PUT IN DRIVE
5. FLOOR THE BRAKES.
6. REV TO 5000RPM
7- LAUNCH ....IS THIS CORRECT?

The KEY, for me anyway, was to push hard on the brake pedal. If I just push the brake hard enough to keep the car from rolling it would only rev to 3000 RPM or so. Also, you must mash (that word sounds so NASCAR to me... floor it, WFO ) the throttle to the floor and hold it there, the "lunch control" will automatically hold it at 5000 RPM. Then release the brake and away you go! It launches faster then it feels, I always get a sub 1.9 second 60 foot time at the drag strip on a stock transmission with factory fluid.

Good luck!

Paul

Yep as others have said brake hard and floor the gas in S-Sport and ASC turned off.... worked everytime for me... and doing multiple launches at autocross never overheated on me.

I know this is an old one but I'm about to try this and I want to get it right. Ok so leave it in drive the entire pull or move it into manual mode. I feel so worried trying to figure this out.
