I agree. Even with the HFC i'd say between 320-330. I'm looking at same basic mods on my SE in hopes of the same power. I got 320 on my GSR with similar mods running Cobb OTS maps, so with custom tune I think the SE could see 320 or higher.

so to recap:

what exactly would I need to see ~430 at the crank, or roughly 360-370whp on VD set to dynojet, or on a real dynojet?

I'm thinking upper IC pipe, AMS widemouth dp, Mil.spec hfc, ETS V2 exhaust, and a tune? would I need to upgrade to a 3 port BCS, and/or upgrade my fuel pump/injectors for this?

also, what is this turbo inlet pipe you guys keep talking about? do you mean a hard intake pipe?

also, a tuner on here suggested that I get an upgraded FMIC as well. is that really necessary at this point? will it make a noticeable difference?

You're not going to see 360 on a Mustang and on a stock Turbo on 93, only on E85.

I'm not looking for mustang numbers. as I said in the passage that you just quoted, i'm looking for dynojet lol 360-370whp on a dynojet, or around 420-430 at the crank.

People with the mods that you listed have seen ~ 330 - 340 custom tuned on Mustangs if you want to extrapolate that to rough DynoJet numbers.

you can use a turbo inlet pipe with the stock intake box with a drop in filter and get similar gains as with going with a complete intake. It's really just up to you what you want to do. I got the Cobb inlet pipe and I'm running a Cosworth drop in for $150 with good gains.

If it were me I would skip the intercooler for now. The stock one does a pretty good job for the stock turbo, but it's up to you. Intercoolers help, but for the cost it's kind of up in the air IMO.

I would do intake or TIP with drop in of your choice, UICP, AMS or MAP DP, a test pipe or HFC, the ETS V2 exhaust, a 3port, and a good tune and I think you'll see the numbers your looking for.

I'll look into the turbo inlet pipe, but no full intake. I like the idea of the drop in that kracka mentioned that cleans with soap and water and is a dry element. I don't want another open element filter, or loud DV. the only noise I'm okay with is the exhaust.

so, Cobb TIP, saw an UICP on SocalEVO.net made by a vendor on there, AMS widemouth DP, Mil.Spec HFC, ETS V2 Cat back, Grimspeed 3 port, and tune. that should do it.

I'll be sure to get all of that done sooner than 172,000 miles like I did with my IX MR though lol
