I have 08 Evo X...bought it new...I never took to the dealship to get "Re-Flash" like everyone else...is it a Must? and how do I get them to do it? how would I know if they did "re-flash it" ? my car does stall, won't turn on, or at a stop light rpm drops very low...from time to time
I need to take it to the dealership tomorrow for an oil change... thankx for any help

Do you plan on gettin an AP? if so the reflash is based of the rom that mitsu will put on your car. Mine is also an 08 and i experienced the same. But then i got the AP and it all went away. Some dealers will charge you for the reflash even though is is supposed to be covered under TSB's. Check with your dealer. As far as if it has been done, they will ask for your VIN and can tell whatever has been done to it as far as TSB's and such. Good luck.

When I got my reflash (free, there is a TSB on it), the dealership put a sticker with the date and the flash info on the underside of my hood. It did help how it ran, especially from 5000 on up, but the Cobb off the shelf map on my AP is way better.
