Identify this exhaust!

So I bought my evo used back in December, and apparently I didn't spend enough time looking underneath and under the hood. Looks like it has an AMS twin tip catback exhaust, however, I am having trouble identifying if it has an aftermarket cat, and downpipe. Here are some pictures, if someone can help me identify which parts are on it exactly I would greatly appreciate it!

If you look at the first image I can see a section of flex pipe.... Not sure if the stock DP has flex pipe on it.

thats an AMS downpipe with the flex joint. Your cat is that big *** thing underneath the car in both your other pictures.

Yes, I Haven't purchased anything for the car yet. So you are sure its an AMS downpipe??? and is the cat just an oem piece? It doesn't look like an aftermarket product or high flow.

Lol yeah lucky is right, well that's good news! I don't believe it is tuned for it though... Looks like I'll have to take a quick trip up to AMS this week.

i doubt you'll see much gain with a tune on that setup... the OEM 02 housing and dp are actually very good pieces if you plan to stick with the stock turbo. If i were in your position i wouldnt tune till you got rid of that cat to atleast a high flow + intake =)

Get rid of that redic heavy stock cat with a straight pipe or a hfc. Car came with some great mods that you won't have to spend the money on now!

Thanks for the advice, I'm probably going to go with a high flow cat and intake from AMS and get a tune. The tough decision is custom tune or AP which is a whole other thread
