I have an ACT HDSS sitting in my closet waiting for the stocker to go out. Ive read that the HDSS wont break the stock CMC but if your going to drag your car often (3k on the stock clutch yikes!) it wont hold for a long time.

Are you sure it's toast? The clutch heats up very quick at the track, then goes to mush? In 2-3 launches even. But it will come back after letting it sit overnight. You can probably go to the track and get another 2-3 launches another day. But that is the most you should do in one night. If you stick to that rule, you can probably get a bunch of launches out of it.

Your 13.4 @ 105mph is about 305-310whp on a dynojet. I ran a 13.4 @ 104mph and was 307whp.

not necessarily. just because our times were the same doesn't mean we're putting down the same power. there are many variables, such as shifting, grip, altitude (i'm at 2000 ft here), heat (nevada), etc. thanks for the advice however.

You can't compare different dynos on different days with different situations and different elevations at tracks. I run a 12.9 at 104 1.78 60ft sea level and make 290 on a dyno jet.

O.P like I and others have told you your stocker will come back you just gotta lay off it though and let that ***** heal. I know your cars only like 2 months old don't go blowing warranties out the water so soon if you can avoid it.

My best time was 13.4 with 1.869 60ft and 105.10 trap.

The only problem now is the clutch. I burnt the **** out of this guy and need a replacement. I've done searches on this, and found out that the exedy twin is probably the best option. but it's way too much money.

So, I'm wondering what the next best option would? My budget on the new clutch is around 500. Thanks!
that set-up is def 12's
