Need a new clutch....
Well, today was the opener at the strip and i decided to take my <3000 mile evo x there to try it out. I have an etune with full tbe, intake, uicp, 3-port, probably at 320-330 range on dynojet.
My best time was 13.4 with 1.869 60ft and 105.10 trap.
The only problem now is the clutch. I burnt the **** out of this guy and need a replacement. I've done searches on this, and found out that the exedy twin is probably the best option. but it's way too much money.
So, I'm wondering what the next best option would? My budget on the new clutch is around 500. Thanks!

You quoted the wrong guy... Lol... I have no problem in the clutch department, it's the OP, but if his mods are just bolt-ons I don't see why not... Then again $500 won't do the trick if he wants at least a good single disc.

I got a new clutch installed a couple of weeks ago at the dealership. I have 19,000 miles on my car, but the service manager told me the stock clutches had a 12 month 12,000 mile warranty on them.
I paid $1300 total for new clutch, resurfacing the flywheel, and alignment. I think the clutch itself was $485. So if you are on a budget, you might want to check the dealership if you only have 3000 miles. And of course remove as many mods as possible.
