Do you guys think the 2011 tune is better than the 2008 with Cobb stage 1?

No way. A tuned 2008 will be faster than a base 2011.

I wonder how this 2011 evo compares to the all mightly Evo IX on that track?

The only draw back of the 08 evoX had is a straight line performance. But still on track was just as fast as the IX. So according to that , should be a faster car.

Maybe a not-so-intelligent-question, but is there a way to copy the 2011 code and flash it over to the non-2011 Xs (e.g., ECU flash)?

Instead, why not tune the '10? Same thing really.

From my understanding, there are subtle tweaks to the MIVEC and AFR's for 2011.
