I did this mod within the first 100 miles. The driving experience sucked so bad lol. I hated how the engagement point changed as the temperature of the fluid changed. The procedure is the same as the 08s and 10s. Just pick up some DOT4 to top it off and all with be good. My goal is to get as many miles out of the stock clutch before replacing. Aside from not driving like an idiot, this mod definitely helps, imo.

Let's hope Mitsu changed the clutch to last longer...like migs said, the diff pins were updated for '11; so, it's not out of the realm of possibility for them to have updated the clutch.

How hard was it to remove the pill? Just put a small screwdriver in and fish it out? How much fluid did you lose? I'd like to do this ASAP as I hate the weird engagement as well...it feels like its sticking for a split second then continues engaging.

I used a straightened wire hanger to push down from the top. Didn't lose that much fluid as I put a red Solo cup (the kind frat boys drink out of at parties) directly underneath. I lost maybe half a Solo cup of fluid. Just keep topping it off though, or you will make the job 10x harder by getting air in the system.

There isn't a how-to per se but the information in this thread is pretty helpful: https://www.evolutionm.net/forums/ev...-pill-out.html

If you want to make it a one man job, buy a speedbleeder to replace the stock bleed valve. You need this model: SB1010-SS
