Phantom Black color questions?
I just bought a 2010 EVO X SE two weeks ago.
Now it is a phantom black, but for some reason it feels like its not as black as it should be, like almost a bit grey-ish in it.
Anyone else with that? or is it just me?

It is not a true black. The combination of added flakes really makes them tint grey. Very unique color and very very very nice once waxed and polished up.

2010 PB X SE owner here as well. Our cars are really only black in very specific light. You'll find it looks dark gray when slightly wet and poorly lit. Sounds normal to me.

I personally don't think its too bad when the car is dirty lol. Almost reminds me of a matte dark gunmetal haha.

PB owner and pervious IX MR owner none r TRUE BLK...
X PB = greyish flakes, and looks grey at day and dark at night but never one true color
IX MR Tarmac Black = purpleish flakes, looks greyish purpleish in the day and a nice rich blk at night
hope this helps
