need a little help please ......

okay so i picked up my X from another evom member well we kinda swapped cars, he took my SRT8 Cherokee, but anyways he said it was stree tuned and since ive gotten the car ive put a TBE on it but even before i did that when i got into high RPMS (5000- 6500 RPMS) the car seems to feel like it hesitates, it feels like the it would hit power then lost it an it would keep doing that all the way till i shift. does anyone know what it could be i really wanna figure it out, i have a feeling it was the tune personally but some imput would be awesome

Sounds like a misfire. Get the car tuned. "Street tune" IMO is another way of saying "Cheap tune."

Honestly if a shop can't afford a dyno, I'd assume that they can't afford to pay a competent tuner.

I donno much about these cars but maybe like a lean/rich protection?

Deff get it tuned!

Sounds like the same problem that the 2008 Evo X has from the factory. Mine used to do that, bucking and hesitating at high RPMs, until I got it dyno tuned. It hasn't did it once since then. Your tune is probably still rich.

yea i figured it had to be something with the " Street tune" only cause when i had my VIII i put a full intercooler kit and TBE on an it never felt like this one does, now the other part is who is a good tuner in the south?i only as cause i used to live in NY an i got my VIII tuned by sean ivey in NJ, but im in GA right now an willing to drive a bit for a good tuner .... any ideas?

if there's no wideband O2 on there, the "street tune" was worthless.

hahaha figures just my luck, i hate people who half A$$ $hit, i dont see what what point of spending money is unless you do it the right way. well thank for the help all i have to do is change my front pass axel an then ill get her tuned

I know top speed is up there in GA or you can make that hot drive to AWD motorsports
