What is the stock exaust weight

 

nice pick-up! btw guys, my car was used for prototype for this exhaust. LiteSpec and I worked closely to make this possible.
the gains are amazing... the sound is not too loud... i know LiteSpec has the decibel readings when we did test it and it never got above 95db. this was WITHOUT silencer... since then, i have installed MXP resonated test pipe and thought it would not be too loud, but im wrong... its like having a test pipe without any resonator on it... hence i put the silencer back on. with it on, it has toned down the sound quiet a lot. im gonna see if i can upload a video from my iphone without a silencer on it...

also check his website, thats my car with LiteSpec driving it. i was filming it.

they have improved the welds by leaps and bounds from the other pictures i have seen.

 

you guys are still reading up on OLD threads... this is the new lite-spec, welds are a lot better...

also, i forgot who asked if it tapers down by the flange... it does NOT taper down... its a full 3.1" all the way...

here's a pic of the final prototype of this exhaust. i have since added the MXP test pipe just less than a month ago.




ALSO, here is the link to the vid i took... remember, it may sound louder than it is, because the phone was less than 2 feet away and this was with STOCK cat and WITHOUT silencer... it is quieter than it seems on this vid.

 

What did you do, tape your phone to the bumper?

 

HAHAHA!! nah, suction kit for the phone.. mobile xtand go, to be exact... works like a charm.

 

i still stand by the fact that the tomei has nicer, smoother welds than the lite spec... but def for the price you can't beat this exhaust. Weight, sound and fitment are damn good for the price. I got one too and its actually a bit more quiet than the greddy tiC i had before if that puts it in perspective for you guys, but it also has quite a bit different sound.
