DON'T BUY THIS CAR

Here is a quick review as to what has happened.

1. We agreed on a price of $33,500, he sent me the bill of sale in there it states that the $1500 deposit is refundable up to the 28th of August. It also states that there are NO defects with the car.

2. I sent the deposit on $1,500 deposit on August 12, 2011. Right after I send it I call him and ask when I can have an inspector come to inspect the car. He then says "Oh, the car is getting a new turbo right now, so at the end of next week"

3. I then call cobb tuning in Portland, OR the next day and they say the car is there getting a new turbo due to the old one spinning slow and producing less HP. So, now I'm already concerned with the car.

4. A few days later I request a refund of my deposit due to all the concerns with the car and the continued effort to sell it when I already had a deposit on it. He then declines my request for a refund thru paypal. My balance was $226.03 I then added $1,273.97 from my bank account. I called my bank and filed a claim for fraud and they got my $1,273.97 back but now my paypal balance has -$1,273.97

I already had my flight booked for the August 27th to pick up the car. I hope for his sake that he refunds the money before then. Other wise I'll be the first one to the airport If anyone knows this guy, tell him to watch his back because karma is a *****.

Sucks to hear man... That deal sounded fishy from the start. I hope you get everything resolved.

 

you should keep the flight, fly out there to his house and take the money back yourself , that's what i'd do.. just make sure you have a weapon on you lolo
