Modding help please

Hello, I recently bought a 2011 Evo X GSR and i needed some help on deciding what to get first for the car. I've put a budget on my self of 4k including labor and tuning. I was thinking maybe starting off with all the pipes. Turbo back Exhaust, uicp, licp, front mount and fuel pump. I really like AMS but if some one can give me some suggestions, I'm open minded to hear advice. How far can i get with my budget? and what's the best bang for the buck?

Thanks

AMS front mount intercooler -$750
Cobb full hard pipe kit upper and lower -$600
Cobb intake kit -$150
AMS widemouth down pipe -$450
Cobb full exhaust with access port and high flow cat -$2240
Or just the cat back exhaust -$1195 no cat
Cobb access port -$600

Grand total 3745 no tax. You can install this yourself easy all off the shelf maps are free. No need for fuel pump of injectors unless you go e85 tune

Agree with that list. if you want to save a few $$ skip the lower IC pipe and Intake.

This guys is also running cams thats why it sounds so deliciously mean

I would go ETS products over AMS well @ least FMIC. You can get a 4' core for high 400's shipped. Good quality, and proven product - check the thread regarding the ETS parts and power it made w/o tune.

Don't bother with a turbo housing atm until you swap the turbo (right there you just saved 350 for the o2 dump and about another 200 on the install). Use the money on lowering springs or some nice wheels.

Go with a downpipe + cat combo or downpipe + test pipe combo. The stock O2 housing on the turbo is more than enough for the stock turbo. Once again when you swap the turbo then swap for a different O2 housing (This way you can put it on all at once and save yourself some nice coin)

My current setup is:

CNT Dual Exhaust
CNT Downpipe w/ cat (299 with free shipping, theres also one with a test pipe for 199)
ETS 4' intercool
ETS intake
ETS upper and lower pipe
Grimspeed EBCS

All that ran me aprox ~2100

Next I'll be going for GSC or Kelford cams and then AccessPort + Tune from COBB SoCal. After the tune ill be saving for FP Red or Green turbo with supporting mods ie: injectors & fuel pump.

Thanks for the advice. If you don't mind me asking , how much are you pushing with what you currently have?

I don't know I haven't gone to COBB yet. I'm going late September. Id guestimate very low 300's. My goal is 410-420 with cams, upgraded turbo, and ets o2 housing. I'm sure ill be contempt with the power made after the tune with current mods.

I just don't wanna get too compulsive either, and maybe even if i do allow myself to get compulsive, at least try to do it in a smart/responsible way.

Set back some money as well for when the clutch goes from the extra power. All depending on how you drive it but you will definitely want to play with the new goodies.
