Hood isn't aligned? Annoying.. help!
I just noticed my hood isn't aligned square with the bumper. There is no hanging on the bumper like I can't push in on it anywhere, there is no slack anywhere. So I think its on good. I just noticed this today. Now first thing I did was remove the ballast location but still nothing, it doesn't align right with or without. Here are some pics
HELP PLEASE
Ballast here but no change when I remove them.

Welcome to my life. My trunk lid is misaligned. Oh, and so is my drivers side fender...did I also mention my front bumper is crooked?
I'd take it to a reputable body shop, preferably a Mitsubishi/Evo specialist. You're in CA, so I'd probably go to DTM Autobody or HB Mitsu.
Edit: Judging by the pics, it looks side the right side (while sitting in the drivers seat) needs to be slightly adjusted. I doubt it's your hood, it's probably your bumper cover.

+1 for DTM, they did some AMAZING work for me when i had my 350z. i would highly recommend them, and they have awesome pricing and great customer service.
EDIT: here's what they did for me: color matching + fitment
DTM
But on topic, wow im sorry to see all these cosmetic hick ups :/ hopefully everything works out for you.

I'll check out DTM. I did remove the bumper when I installed my ETS IC but I didn't noticed any fitment issues, like I said there is no play anywhere on the bumper. I will try to play with the hood adjustment as recommended. If that doesn't help ill redo the bumper install. Worst case i'll goto DTM.
Thank you for the advice and recommendations.

It's easy to fix, I've had my hood off numerous times and out it back on and it still perfectly aligned.
Two bolts on the hinge have a bit of play so you can move it a bit higher or lower to make it align properly... Should fit your prob
