I grew up thinking that the eclipse was Mitsu's badass flagship. Then 2fast2furious came out and i behold a mitsu hanging with the eclipse. The asian tech guy in the movie called it an "evo" but i couldn't relate.
Around here you dont see evo's cuz its extremely difficult to ship over, so no exposure.
But i was always a big Lancer fan. End of 2007 and the new base Lancers come out. I go on the internet to do some research and i come across "Evolution X". Liked it, saved for it, bought it and now i love it

First time that I had heard of them was when I bought my Civic from a Mitsu Dealership back in 04 and the salesmen were talking about them being so excited to get a EVO at their lot. Then about a week later I went to grab a bite to eat and there was this bad *** car sitting in the parking lot with people surrounding it, I asked the guy at the window what kind of car it was and he told me it was the new EVO. From then on the car was the car that I wanted and eventually 6 yrs down the road got an X.

can't recall. I knew about them before F&F came out. I can remember getting excited when the US finally got their first Evo... and STi for that matter... and the WRX.
