Leather seats? Good/bad??
#18
Hey, I have an 2011 evo mr. The seats are actually comfy enough that you can drive for 3-4 hours and have zero issues. I will also say that driving 3 hours to a race track then spending all day in the "Hot seat" while lapping then turning around for a 3 hour drive home. These seats do it all! they hold you tight in the corners and still comfy on the way home.
with that said...
If you want the absolute most comfy seat ever in life.. get them from a 2004-2007 Volvo V70R/ S60R these are the most comfy seats ive ever owned.

If leather is in the sun it'll feel like you're getting burned. It gets so hot sometimes. That being said though, all my cars and my family's cars have leather. I think it looks too good to pass up on it because of the temperature sometimes.

I'm not a fan of leather because of how hot they get in the summer. I've had leather on several previous cars, and man does it get hot in high summer.
That said, we hope to get a second X MR, this time the Touring, next summer, so we'll be trying Mitsubishi leather first hand.

The leather is excellent, very soft and comfy. The interior looks so much better with the full leather.
Leather can get hot but your seats arent in direct sunlight all day long. Its more like if the time of day is right and there is nothing around you and you park facing the sun then yeah it can hit your seats. I only ever feel the burn maybe 3 times a year.

Leather interiors are nice... the only thing I'd say is that unlike cloth seats... if you want them to keep looking good you have to maintain them. Or else they'll start showing creases and crack really early.

These reply and comments are really funny. I have owned over a dozen cars from various manufactures, never, ever seen leather crack.. Seriously if you just use some basic leather cleaner/conditioner it will last forever.
