I haven't posted on this post in a while and I thought I would keep everyone updated haha I got a White Evo GSR 2008! The price was a bit high but after I part it out it'll cost around 25000 and the seller was nice enough to include all the stock parts!

30 is to much for a used evo unless its a 2011 and have under 6K
i would look into a cheaper used car of really hunt around for a good used price. i know you could get a base model for 30500 from south coast mitsubishi last summer

To be honest I love the more raw VII-IX EVO, I love the new one but I bought an EVO not as a daily but as a fun car. I'll look to reducing the weight and highly modifying the engine and chassis and personally I think the earlier models are better for that. The new ones seem to be more comfortable though and there's a dual clutch option but for me it's stick shift for an EVO.
By the way it looks like you already made your mind up and got a X, congrats.

Any word on the updates for the 2012 model evo? all I have herd is that there will be a light on the dash to tell you when to shift.
I am in the same situation but am leaning towards a new evo
