Hesitation at 3200rpm on New Stock GSR

Is it normal to have hesitation at 3200rpm on a new GSR? This is with normal slow paced driving.

Depends what you mean by hesitation. That is right about the point that the turbo starts to spool. It might also be something that a tune will smooth out.

Yeah, I believe that is lag nation, especially on normal driving.

Are you refering too slow acceleration near 3500 rpm that builds 1-5 psi boost and then as you let off slightly there is a quick hesitation?
I notice it significantly more with my CBE on that I did before. I bet a tune would fix it, if that's not the route you want take it to the dealer they'll reflash the ECU. I'm taking mine to the dealer this week

Yes this is it exactly. Although it doesn't happen all the time. Does it need a reflash even if it's a new car?

I have the same hesitation, right around 3k rpm. It's not turbo lag, I get it while just cruising. I can hear the BPV fluttering when it happens sometimes, usually when I'm in 4th or 5th gear.

Could it be from bad gas? Or is a factory flash needed? It seems to be getting better. I only had it happen once today.

Possibly all of the above, does it continue to do it after the car has warmed up?

Yes it occurs when the engine is warm. Only happens when cruising with very light throttle.

Not bad gas. It's been consistent since I bought the car. Minor issue, and I'm hoping a tune will fix it. My old STi had a similar issue around 3k rpm as well, and a few open source guys from RomRaider (Airboy) figured out that we could adjust engine load compensation using plots from LTFT logging. I hear that the actual problem was mechanical, but we fixed the symptoms with tuning. Don't know if this is related, probably not.
