Stolen 2010 Evo X MR parts

Man that sucks. I thought stripping cars only happened in the movies.
My first thought is the people involved must have had knowledge of the Evo to be able to strip it in a driveway of the owner’s home. But, since they took the stock cat, they might have just been excellent car thieves because no one wants a stock cat for an evo.

Cats are worth a good bit of coin at a junk yard. When my buddy's Army reserve unit went to the rifle range in KY they returned to OH to find 14 vehicles had the exhaust cut off them. On Army Property.

That stinks! We HATE Thieves!
That is ridiculous that they stole and stripped that much!
They must have looked like a late night nascar crew working in reverse.
I hope they catch them. Keep checking facebook through your state; that is how those famous Subaru dealership STI rim steelers were caught in Oregon years back.
good luck!

+1 There is some metal used in cats that are pretty valuable, I have a friend who used to help people replace their cats with test pipes and take the cat as a payment.

Sounds to me like they may be working with a body shop. If you price out some of those parts they add up quite quickly! Parts may not even be seen on the used market if they go this route. Punishment for theft is way too easy in my opinion. I'd like a theif to repay his debt to socity & the person he stole from. I think $15 a day sounds about right. How long would that take him to payback this EVO?
