So I bought this GSR... (pics)

This is post #2 for me aside from my newbie intro. The short of it, I'm a new EVO owner, first time, background in rally racing and desert racing.

Just did a few camera phone pics of the new to me car. It's a 2008 GSR with the SSS package and from what I gather a bunch of DS5? carbon fiber accent pieces. GReddy Exhaust, AEM Intake, and some decent wheels...not sure how I feel about those.

Pic 1 - Carbon Roof, Vinyl, not the real deal, but it looks and feels cool.

Pic 2 - This is where I get the impression the DS5 is the brand on the CF stuff, I'm new to EVO's so I know jack.

Pic 3 - Think I'd rather have a black wheel.

Pic 4 - The carbon front piece is failing, I think I can get it fixed though.

Pic 5 - The money shot.

Pic 6 - No idea what flawless rides is. Stickers are going bye bye anyways

Pic 7 - Rear View

So what do ya think? I personally think I'll enjoy this one alot. Very decent car, nice sound system, AWD, turbo, yay!

Only downside, insurance jump was $100 over my old car....yikes

Hope my giddyness isn't too transparent.

Very nice... pretty normal for insurance to go up on EVO ...on the transparent side...you kinda went toward the direction ROYGBIV..

definitely remove the stickers..

Ditching the stickers is a good idea... I'd suggest a wheel with a lower offset, but other than that it looks pretty good. Congrats on the new car.

I speak offset and backspacing pretty well, but when you say lower...which way are you talking?

Looks good! I wasn't a huge of the X's when they came out, but they are starting to grow on me. Especially the wicked whites.

Looks alright, take off stickers, sell those wheels and buy a more aggressive set.

Drive it, enjoy it.

Might change a couple things here and there. I'd definitely like to change out the wheels. This is my daily, so keeping it in good shape and reliable will be key.
