HFC, is it safe?

to make my story short, i f*cked up my catalytic hole thread while installing my

cat-back exhaust, now the bolt wont go all the way in beacuse of the thread is

loose.. im planning to get a HFC before i touch my exhaust again just in-case

something wrong happen i got a replacement..

so my question is:

is it safe to run a HFC (ets) w/o a tune?? my othe mods are : afe intake w/ perrin turbo inlet, cat-back exhaust, 1pc. uicp..

im getting my tune next year (feb.)

and the other question is, who can fix my loose hole thread on my cat?? i know theres a helicoil kit, but i dont know how to use it and dont want to ****ed it up again.. can any mechanic shop can do this??

thanks a lot..
