Exhaust suggestions for my Evo x MR

So I'm in the market for a new exhaust, I'm going for the quiet side of mufflers because cali restrictions suck Can anyone please give me options for a fair priced exhaust that's pretty quiet. Thanks.

I'd go with Magnaflow. Nice and deep and almost stock sounding. No drone either. And, the price is right. My son has it on his 2011 Evo X GSR and I plan on getting it next spring for my Evo.

I think the Perrin sounds great just from sound clips. It is supposed to be on the quieter side from what I have read.

If you want something deeper but real quiet go with the HKS Legamax catback. Had it on my ralliart. Sounded great.

I've got the COBB cat-back and love it. I've had zero issues too. To be honest, the problems people have here in SoCal, is running a full catless TBE. That, in itself, could get you into trouble any where.

If you're in the Southern part of CA, I'd suggest RRE stealth exhaust option. They look less bling than a stock catback and can be built to your liking.

ETS V2 Quiet

I'm in the same boat and leaning towards ETS V2 Quiet. Seems more serious than stock without sounding obnoxious.

thanks for the replies.

To ODB, I was in fact looking at the ETC V2 quiet just now and I hear that it drones. So makes me think twice about it. If rumors arn't true, please let me know.

So far my list narrowed down to Buschur, Perrin, ETS V2 quiet and Cobb.
Please, if anyone has personal expirence and input on these exhausts, kindly share !

Cobb here and love it, great for a DD street car. I had the Magnaflow before and that's also a solid choice, great bang for the buck.

I have the perrin and it has a great sound and is still quiet. I love mine. The only other one I have heard that I really liked was the ETS V2 quiet. If I had the choice between the 2 I would go ETS.

I saw a buschur crossflow exhaust in person and I was very impressed at its stealth and how quiet it is. If I was going for a quiet exhaust, I would definetly get a br crossflow.

I was about to post a thread about exhausts, my choice is either the ETS Quiet V2 vs the Bucheur crossflow.

If you want quiet.. I would go with HKS Legamax. I live in San Francisco and I never got any problems with CHP for my loud Tomei exhaust lol. Guess I'm just lucky.

Im originally from Cali...so I know what u mean. Might just want to do a downpipe and high flow cat...plenty of guys making good power and still using the factory cat-back section.

Im running the Cobb, not too loud, pretty mellow actually...unless your really on it

On my X GSR I had originally went with the Megan Racing OE-RS. But with the full O2 back, and test pipe it was a little loud, but very tolerable. It's probably going to be more than you are looking for.

I heard some good things about the HKS Megamax. We have had a few Evo X customers order that one.
