Odyssey Battery PC680

So it was about that time I switched out my battery because my stock battery isn’t holding a charge after 2 years plus I wanted to save a little weight in the trunk. As usual I did some extensive research to find the best and cheapest option for my budget and longevity. After all of the research it came down to 1 battery the Odyssey PC680 a lightweight powersports option. The weight difference between the 2 is crazy the stock battery is 35.4lbs and the Odyssey PC680 is 14.2lbs so that helps with a lot of those weight conscious track junkies. If you notice in the pictures the stock battery tie downs are too large so I purchased the AMS Battery Tie Down kit for $59.95 and for good measure I got the anodized red option to match the cars exterior color. All in all im very happy with the battery and it seems to crank well in the cold weather.

We use this battery in the race car and it seems to work great. It's been a couple of years now and I notice that it doesn't hold a charge as well as it used to. Truth is the battery sits for a long time so doesn't get charged regularly like it would be for a DD.

If you dd your car that wont last long. I have been through 3 of those already. If it is just for track yeah its good those batterys don't like cold, radios, and any other electiral on the car.

I daily drive my Evo and usually let the car sit on weekends and drive my FJ cruiser so hopefully it holds up but if not I will get a larger battery for daily driving and swap to the PC680 when going to the track.

I bought my evo about 5 years ago and the first mod was the Odyssey Battery PC680. Let me tell you guys, I still have the same battery with no issues whatsoever. Great battery and don't even want to comment on the weight savings cuz its ridiculous when compared to stock.
Very good item to have.

They both compliment each other because I hate going out with the Evo because I fear something will happen and I like the ability to just drive. With the Evo well you know..

+1.

I had this same battery on my VIII for a couple years with no problems. Winter, summer, DDing, whatever, this battery did the trick.
