thank you all for the help....i decided to go with the turbo smart BOV i think if i set it up for 50/50 we should be good. i think she is going to have a good x-mas with the BOV, cobb controller, and intake.....next is an exhaust for her b-day in March then its back to my toys. thanks again

yeah, horse has been kicked while dead but to be repetitive:

Definitely try to point out to her how poorly Evo's/RAs run with atmosphere dumped valves. However, there are some really great sounding ones when running an open element filter. (Youtube is your friend on hearing this). Get her a convertible valve (like the Agency Power, or others that you can run re-circ, 50/50, or atmo). Then she can open a gift she wants, and follow it up with an intake. Install it as recirc and see how she likes the sound. If that doesn't work, then go 50/50 and play with the tension adjustment. Hope she loves it at recirc though. It's Mitsu warranties the RA like the Evo, just the idea of the valve dumping Atmo and they'll probably make comments.

I like a woman with clean cylinders. Run the valve in full dump. Rinse 'em out on every shift.

Good choice! i have a TS dual port for my MR.. the wooshhh sounds much better than the squeak... i have had zero problems with it and car runs smoother through shifts. its very loud with the stock intake, so i imagine it will be much louder with your aftermarket intake. you might need a few more stocking stuffers.. like a UICP, intercoller, and some Volks.. :P jk
