that's because 4g63 > 4b11t

but anyway, I came from a stage 3 A4 2.0T, and I don't regret it for a second if that helps!

I find that RWD is just more fun and this is coming from someone who owns a fully built IX, but again it's all personal preference. I'd go for a test drive in a stock Evo X, find a local shop and find someone with a 500whp Evo X, ride in said 500whp Evo X, compare it to your BMW, make a decision.
light... lol

There is no way the 135 comes anywhere close to the performance of an EVO. Plus, BMW have always had very substandard features for the price. People forget, the sticker price of 40k doesnt sound bad, but that's completely stock. (doesn't even include the paint job!) I'm getting a fully loaded EVO for their base price. Now the EVO is not known for it's luxury. This is true. But BMW is in the same bracket as being known for dated and basic. Think BMW is luxury? Go sit in a 300c , Mercedes sl, audi. S5, or Acura. Then tell me BMW has luxury it's sad but a fully loaded mazda3 at the price tag of 25k has just as nice of an interior. Now im NOT saying BMW makes ****ty cars I just can't stand that you pay 8 grand then other cars competively in its bracket for those cute little propelers just so you can say your in Germany's "ultimate driving machine"

End rant

3500lb is down right heavy, just cause there are heavier cars doesn't make the evo light by any means...

Especially when one has a 2 liter 4, and the other a v8. Evos are not very light indeed but they sure feel like it

Agreed on both points, but the weight shows it ugly face sometimes under braking or off boost, or very very tight corners...

Probably doesn't help that the turning radius isn't too tight either

Current 335 owner here the n54 motor has awesome power potential. For 1k you can get 400 whp. Intake, tune, integrated meth kit.

Has anyone been watching top gear this year ? That 1m is serious beast ! Jeremy picked the 1m over the 458 italia. Anyways back on topic, if your selling the 135i for an Evo on pure feeling then I commend you because that is what it's all about and why we're all buying evos. How the car feels when you hit the gas or turn the wheel is what keeps you loving it. Not BMW iPhone apps, 1000 speaker harmon kardon system, little magic elfs that adjust your seat for you, and led light shows everywhere.
If you care what people think however that is another factor. Outside this forum people don't know wtf Evo's can do and their potential. They just hear and see BMW $ vs lancer.

BMW and Evo are great Car.

However, if I have money, then I will buy M3 or 1M for sure.

I know Power and handling are the better than BMW, but it only shows in track.

If you don't go to track, then BMW is better DD.

For me, before I buy evo, I drove alot of performance cars.

Cars that I test drove - EVO, Sti, S4, S5, 135i, 335i, M3, Mustang, Camero, Nismo 370Z, Cayman S, mini cooper S, 2011 Gti, s2000

IMHO,
Performance - As stock, E92 M3 (V8 sounds amazing)
With modification - I was surprise by power increase and realize that why evo guys are obesssed with modifications.

Handling - Cayman S...I just loved it.... Evo is good too, but I like the way Cayman S handling the corners.

Interior - S5 (I sat down and I was like 'Wow')
For evo, sorry guys, but I think it is the worst interior looks and quality among over 30 grand cars.

Exterior - EVO X and M3
