My new 2012 X MR

I do not miss the stick one bit. Took about 2-3 days to adjust my mind from shifting but I use the SST shifter and paddles a lot. Only really drive in auto when I get into traffic. That's the real nice part of it for me. The SST is smooth and shifts fast as hell. It's nice know there are so many ways to drive the car now unlike with my old GSR. Gotta love options.

Never had the "override" issue with my MR. It will hold the gear and let you redline to your heart's content. It will not, on the other hand, let you downshift if it knows the revs will be beyond rev limit. Your get the angry "two beeps".

you should, sooo much convenience w/the SST, especially when you have another 6speed sitting in the driveway when your feeling traditional/ol' skool. But the truth is a stick will never beat a computer...raced in japan long enough to know!
