Which of these built Evo's would you buy???
Hey guys,
Going to buy a built EvoX in the coming days, the two that have caught my eye are:
This one for $36K
or
This one for $32K
Using it as a fun weekend street car. Which one would you pick, and why???
Any other built x cars that you know of with very low miles please let me know!
Thanks,
Allen

Members AP Evo X, reasons on that he/she could tell you every part that has gone into the car. Which I think the dealer ship could not, as you dont know who drove the car before or the rep of where it was built.

I'd go with the second choice. Went from one member to another and who knows what the previous owner did on the first car. And if you have a problem with the 2nd car AMS is a phone call away. And I like the wheels on the 2nd car and oh yeah the price also is good.

#2 although you could contact map and ask if they built the first on because the car does have atleast one map part that i saw? its a shot in the dark but even if they did id still go with the 2nd one

I would look more into the one for sale from a forum member..you know help out a brotha rather than a dealer. Also, since the other one is a forum listing you can likely search their posts to answer a lot of the questions you should be researching before buying a "built" car.
I knew a guy that had a bugeye back about 8 years ago. When he traded it in at the dealer, he pulled all the aftermarket engine parts off and just ran the OE turbo with a boost controller. The car ran terrible, but when he brought it in with the dyno sheet the dealer took it on trade. It was a timebomb waiting to go off and hopefully not in a new customers possession. Dealers rarely know this from that.
