HFC VS Resonated Test Pipe?
I am running a ETS V2 Exhaust (Not the extreme) with the ETS TP. The car sounds amazing and I get lots of compliments on it but its my DD and on hour long drives on the highway it starts to get to me. I want to tone the exhaust down a bit. I have been doing some research on HFC and Resonated test pipes and understand that with the HFC you will get less CFM through the exhaust and that should take care of some of the drone. I also understand that with the resonated TP I will get more flow and a reduction in noise. I have heard mixed reviews about the resonated TP being quieter than the HFC and vice versa.
Has anyone run both HFC and then switch Resonated TP or vice versa? Which did you find to have canceled noise and drone better?

+1, thats what i have...lol. Currently as the car sits i have the ams widemouth dp and t1r resinated test pipe with stock exhaust, the exhaust sound hasnt change...still sounds factory. I have the tomei expreme waiting to be installed.

Replace the exhaust with a quieter one (probably a single exit), get the ets non resonated testpipe and it will still be quiter than your ets v2 alone with stock cat.
