The only way to properly test for boost leaks is by removing the intake system and pressurizing the system using an air compressor and one of these connected to the compressor inlet:
Might save you the trouble next time by having a professional do the install. If you don't already know how to properly troubleshoot potential problems resulting from an installation you probably shouldn't be attempting them yourself.

There were no boost leaks. When the intake was installed it allowed more airflow through. The stock parameters were not able to compensate for that added airflow. I will be having the vehicle tuned as soon as the exhaust and down pipe get here. Thanks for all the help

This doesn't sound right at all. I ran the ETS intake/UICP/3.5" FMIC/TP/Catback for a few months before getting tuned and never had any problems. You sure it's not just the warmer outside temperatures?
